- Conducting patient assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
Job Description
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
- Monitoring patients’ response to treatment and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Interpreting psychological tests
- Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to coordinate patient care
- Documenting patient medical records
- Communicating with patients and their families regarding their care and treatment plans
- Conducting medication reconciliations and managing medication refills
- Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Responding to patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information
Qualifications
- Master’s (Required)
- PA Licensure from the Texas State Board of Physician Assistants (Required)
- Certification from NCCPA
- US work authorization (Required)
- Strong clinical background with solid experience in psychotherapy
- Responsive to a fast-paced environment
- Must have a working knowledge of EMR/EHR
- Bi-lingual is a plus
