Mid Cities Psychiatry specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health illnesses, including treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders.

Job Description:

• Able to evaluate, identify, diagnose, and treat patients with behavioral or emotional disorders for ages 16 and up
• Able to conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results
• Must be able to coordinate/communicate with the interdisciplinary team which includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and a team of therapists in managing patient challenges/behavioral dysfunction
• At least 2 years of experience in the clinical settings
• Completing the notes in the timely fashion
• Full Time Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No Call On Weekends

Qualifications:

• BC or BE (board eligible/board certified) in Psychiatry & Neurology
• M.D. or D.O.
• U.S. Citizens / U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents / open to sponsoring H1 or J1 visas for qualified candidates
• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
• Strong clinical background with solid experience in Psychiatry
• Responsive to a fast-paced environment
• Must have a working knowledge of EMR/EHR
• At least 2 years of experience in the clinical settings
• Bi-lingual is a plus
