Ashley Ibbotson, PhD

Dr. Ashley Ibbotson, PhD, is a Licensed Psychologist in Texas, offering a wide range of therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Ibbotson received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2015, following a Master of Arts in Psychology in 2008, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy & Religion from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003.

Dr. Ibbotson’s expertise spans psychotherapeutic interventions for all ages, supervising new psychologists and postdoctoral fellows, and conducting comprehensive evaluations. Her clinical training includes an APPIC-accredited pre-doctoral internship and a practicum in outpatient mental health care, where she provided therapy and conducted evaluations for diverse populations, including those with autism and substance abuse issues. Earlier in her career, she delivered intensive in-home therapy and crisis intervention, and taught undergraduate psychology courses.

Her therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies, emphasizing the impact of thoughts and feelings on behavior and the dynamics of family relationships.
