Francine is an experienced, multi-faceted therapist who believes in her clients even when they
do not believe in themselves. She will meet clients where they are and walk side-by-side with
them on their journey to healing. Her approach combines great respect, empathy, and kindness
knowing how difficult it is for people to share their stories. Her goal is to explore with them not
only what happened or is happening; but, to work together with clients to move forward.
Building a strong bond with clients is most important to her. She works to build trust through
listening, sharing, and injecting a healthy dose of humor into client sessions. Francine’s calming
and compassionate approach puts clients at ease during the therapy session and afterwards.
Francine specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, grief, and depression. She was
originally trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy – commonly known as TalkTherapy; but, has
since added other tools to help clients, namely DBT therapy and EMDR – eye movement
desensitization reprocessing – a well researched therapy which helps clients put the past in the
past so they can move on with their lives.
Her experience ranges from private practice work to working in a non-profit organization. She
was an intervention counselor in Keller ISD for many years where she spent years helping
adolescents and their families navigate the turbulence of their teenage years. She is very
comfortable working with adolescents and adults, members of the LGBTQ community, and all
people going through various phases and changes of life.
