We are proud to introduce Piper, a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their paths to healing. Piper has extensive experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including those in inpatient mental health settings, post-incarceration and immigrant populations, and veterans. She is skilled in addressing a wide range of personal challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, life adjustments, career issues, anger management, grief, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
Piper earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana Christian University and her Master’s degree from Louisiana State University. Her treatment philosophy is centered around a client-focused approach, utilizing various therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, empowerment techniques, motivational interviewing, and restorative justice, tailored to fit the individual needs of each client.
She strives to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can safely explore their issues and work collaboratively towards personal growth and healing.
